  : Houda and her husband AK were amazing hosts! Great communication and I really appreciated that Houda offered to organise some welcome food for us, as we weren't arriving until after curfew and everything closed. AK came to pick us up in the car from the train station and shopped for us (the most amazing bread ever!). The apartment is modern, light and airy and very comfortable, and coffee in the sun on the balcony was lovely. It's also quiet which is important for me, and I loved having the a/c in the bedroom. It was great having an oven (unusual in Morocco) and we made good use of the washing machine also. The location is fab - a really quiet suburban street with a BIM mini market 2 minutes walk away plus an organic food store downstairs and only about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the main street in Gueliz. When we left, we actually walked back to the train station it's only about 8 minutes also! Both a dripolater coffee machine and a nespresso machine (tip there's a Nespresso shop near Carre Eden shopping centre). I messaged Houda asking if they had a vegetable 'grater' and she had one delivered with 30 minutes. Easy checkout communication/departure. We chose Gueliz due to the train station proximity, short taxi to Jardin Marjorelle rather than stay in the medina, which is only a 10 minute taxi ride away if you want to go.
  : Our hot water cylinder kept leaking after the shower was used and water went all over the kitchen floor. Not a major, but no one on site to fix it until a plumber could be called the next day- luckily not a major. The shower door doesn't close properly so you get a bit of water on the floor.
